-  1923 Illinois Watch Co., Springfield - Private Label
- Ritetime-  Size: 16
-  Model: Seventh Model
- Open Face-  Grade: 305
-  Adjusted: Temperature
-  Serial Number: 4466482
-  17 Jewels - in settings
-  Movement: Bridge
-  Movement Finish: Stripped Pattern-  Engraving: Black Filled-  Roller: Double - unmarked-  Setting: Pendant
-  Case - Open Face - Screw Back & Bezel - Illinois Watch Case Co.- Elgin U.S.A Romona - Gold Filled - 20 Years Double Stock.  The case is not in the best condition.  It shows some brassing in several areas.
-  Bow - Tight but not in the best of form or condition
-  Dial: Metal Dial - Double Sunk.  There are a few small scratches around the area of the second hand.  There is some smudging throughout the dial.  The first picture is a better representation of what the dial looks like versus the next one with the bezel and crystal removed.  Please look at photos to inspect the entire dial.  This is one of those watches where the dial looks better in person than in a photo.
-  Crystal - in nice shape - plastic - it has been polished and there are no scratches or hazing that I can see.  Again, please inspect the photos using the Super Sized photos to be sure the crystal is to your liking.
-  Hands - Black with round circles on the end
-  Serviced - This watch has recently been serviced.  The mainspring was not replaced during servicing.
-  Overall Review:  This Illinois is very unique in several ways.  First it is a Private Label and second it is a grade 305.  Not the best condition case and dial shows its age.  With metal dials there's not much you can do to clean them up - try and you usually end up destroying it so please don't attempt to do so!  Watch keeps good time in all positions.
